&lt;p&gt;The Town of Orono is seeking an energetic, motivated individual for the position of full-time Police Officer.&amp;nbsp; Applicants must be at least 21 years of age, have completed the 100 hour Law Enforcement Pre-Service Training Program, and have passed the Maine Criminal Justice Academy (MCJA) ALERT and physical agility tests.&amp;nbsp; Applicants may also be required to pass an oral board; and, may be subjected to medical, psychological, and polygraph tests, as well as a background check.&amp;nbsp; The Town offers a competitive salary and benefit package including health and dental insurance, paid holidays, vacation and sick leave, and participation in the Maine State Retirement System.&amp;nbsp; Police Officers are also covered under the provisions of a collective bargaining agreement.&amp;nbsp; Lateral transfer incentives are available for individuals who have completed the MCJA Basic Law Enforcement Training Program or its equivalent.&amp;nbsp; Starting salary is commensurate with experience. &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
